Research Opportunities Visiting fellows program Each year HCBSS appoints a limited number of visiting research fellows working in the fields of Buddhism and other Asian religions. Affiliation with the Center is also available to scholars visiting other units of Stanford. While HCBSS does not have funds to provide stipends, it does offer support in the form of library privileges at Stanford and Berkeley, graduate assistants, staff support, and incidental research expenses. Office space at the Center is limited and cannot be guaranteed. HCBSS fellows are welcome to participate in all the programs of the Center and are encouraged to offer reading groups on their materials and present their work in an annual fellows colloquium. Inquiries should be directed to Ho Center for Buddhist Studies, Building 70, Room 71E, Main Quad, Stanford University, Stanford, CA 94305. Phone: 650-736-1301. E-mail: ihl@stanford.edu.
